Abstract
For a time, philosophy has been unfolding in the space of the archive: history of manuscripts, unpublished works, conservation and, above all, classification and editing. In contemporary philosophy, the Nietzsche Archive is among the paradigmatic cases. In the present article we deal with its emergence linked to the avant-gardes of the time; its development and twilight during Nazism and its revival in the 1960s-1970s. This article, in addition, dwells on the reading effects linked to each of these moments.
