The philosophical analysis and the university of the catacombs

the academic field. In Philosophy, there was an exodus towards the so-called “University of the catacombs”. The Argentine Society of Philosophical Analysis was a space for critical thinking and training in disciplines that had not yet found expression in the traditional academy. It was there that the political philosophy that would later nurture the democratic practice of the transition was debated, and it was there that the deep convictions of public ethics and human rights that still  persist were born.
